Director Peter Jackson felt like there could be enough material to grant a third Hobbit movie so he proposed to Warner bros to go for a trilogy instead of the two-parters that was initially planned. The Hobbit 3 movie is titled "The Hobbit There and Back Again" (and the second part is now titled The Hobbit The Desolation of Smaug). The third film is scheduled for a release on July 18, 2014Here's the movie trailer of the first Hobbit movie:

"The Hobbit 3 There and Back Again will be an action spectacle and an emotional conclusion for this already much-anticipated trilogy. Opening in the summer will maximize playability for what promises to be an event film for fans the world over."
